My girlfriend recently visited a jeweler to have her ring appraised and she called me once she left to let me know what they said. She said the jeweler had told her that there was a "contusion in one of the diamonds" not visible to the naked eye but visible under a magnifier. Could someone tell me what this might mean? I would appreciate it very much.
