Help me pick out a laptop!?
I am looking for a new laptop and need some help making a decision.
1. I really like Windows so I'm prob not going to cross over to Mac.
2. I want ~2 - 4 gb of memory
3. A decent amount of ram
4. I'm not a gamer so all that special 3d/ visual memory isn't needed
5. I have always loved HP so if you have a suggestion towrads thata, will be much appreciated
6. I'm used to a 17'' screen
7. I want the color to be kind of toned down (black, silver) but let me know anyways even if the product color is something crazy. Maybe I'll like it anyway 
8. I don't want to spend a huge amount of money on it. Just let it be reasonably priced at least.

If I were you I'd wait a couple months until windows 7 comes out. It's supposed to be Vista+a lot of cool stuff.
also, please stay away from Best Buy. Geek squad screwed my sister out of 400 dollars AND they stole her 2 GB of ram and replaced it with 1 GB of ram. Now here computer is basically useless and it cost my mom 1000 so AVOID THEM PLEASE.
